'tis the Season Layout

'tis the season to believe in miracles (and magic)!

This layout was created in my EXTRA Happy, Happy Christmas scrapbooking layout workshop.  You can recreate this layout using Happy, Happy Christmas My Crush and Happy, Happy Christmas Picture My Life cards, City Sidewalks complements and Oh Deer coordinating cardstock.

Elements of this design were suggested for the hinged display. Once I created all of my layouts in the Happy, Happy Christmas bundle I used remaining City Sidewalks complements, left over seaglass and white daisy cardstock to turn this into a two-page layout with picture my life spaces in the right.  

How cute is that Santa cruising in his car?

EXTRA Happy, Happy Christmas!

This layout was created in my EXTRA Happy, Happy Christmas scrapbooking layout workshop.  You can recreate this layout using Happy, Happy Christmas My Crush and Happy, Happy Christmas Picture My Life cards, City Sidewalks complements and Oh Deer coordinating cardstock.  This layout design was one of the layouts you could create using the November Happy, Happy Christmas bundle from CTMH. I added an additional My Crush page, brown floral pattern, to my layout to fit my tastes and photos.

City Sidewalks Layout

I am so in the Christmas mood!! I try to hold off until after Thanksgiving but I'm going with, "Really?! Why wait?"  It's getting chillier but we still have a brown ground.  My kiddos were hopeful we'd get our piece of the first snowstorm of the winter, but it missed us.  (I'm okay with that for now...)

June: CTMH Flash Sales!!

I'm so excited June is here!  Summer is my favorite.  I get to be home with my kiddos and enjoy our days together each day.  We are so looking forward to that and have started our 'Places to Go, Things to Do' lists!  4 more school wake-ups for us until Summer Vacation! :)

Close to My Heart is changing their stamp policy program.  Currently, upon release each stamp set continues to be available for a year before they retire and Cricut compatible sets have remained available indefinitely.

The new policy, effective immediately, is that stamp sets will be retired when the Idea Books they are featured in retires.  This means that we all need to be sure to scoop up our favorites when we see them!  Stamp sets featured in Seasonal Expressions 1 will be retired at the end of that idea book on April 30, 2016.  Stamp sets featured in Annual Inspirations 2015-2016 and any other stamps sets featured online will be retired on July 31, 2016.  There is a small list of exceptions in stamps that will carry over, as I find out more I will share.

Hello, February!

Hey friends!!

I hear Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow which is supposed to mean early spring, right?! Sa-weet!! I love a nice sunny day!  However, in Minne-snow-ta we didn't seem to get the same memo. :)  Today our phones rang early in the morning to let us know we had a "snow day"!! BONUS!! I love bonus days! Happy to have some fresh snow to play in and enjoy the winter days and then Punxsutawney Phil I'm ready for the early spring you predict.  Happy Groundhogs Day!

Sangria Layout

I LOVE the Sangria paper collection.  The mix of colors pared with this time of year puts a smile on my face!

When I saw this layout posted on CTMHs Blog I new I wanted to recreated it.  I love the mixture of stamped pieces that were incorporated from the September promotion Hello, Life and the strokes of water color.  I really like the look of water color and need to experiment this was a great place to begin!

This is how I recreated this layout with Sangria papers, Hello Life and watercolors.  I also used liquid glass to create epoxy bubbles on my layout and added to the lens of the camera.

If you're following me or CTMH on social media (Facebook Business Page) you've seen the sneak peek of the new Planner System CTMH is releasing December 1st!  There are multiple products releasing with this system from the Everyday Life binder to planner pages and a new roller stamp to washi tape.  I will post more details here my blog and will be sending emails as it gets closer to releasing so be sure you're on my newsletter list!

I was inspired by the artwork in the Hello, Life! flyer on these last two cards.  Watercolor is SO fun!! My husband was super impressed with how my stamp colors matched my painting - that's CTMH! Coordinating colors! :)
